About Me

My training includes work with Gecko, Improbable, Told by an Idiot, Spymonkey, Peta Lily, Stella Duffy, David Glass and Dorothy Max-Prior among others. After gaining a 1st class hons in Theatre Arts, I have been working as a freelance practitioner, with multiple companies, spanning multiple practices as well as creating my own work. I was part of Wet Picnic from 2007-2022. With Wet Picnic I created, produced and toured work to over 1 million people across the globe.

I am a theatre maker, performer, divisor, collaborator, producer and director. A versatile actor with a strong background in comedy, physical theatre, dance and movement.  I’m  self-motivated and approach my work with focused energy, enthusiasm and commitment. Intelligent and inquiring, I work extremely well within a group; I am very approachable, adaptable, open, and reliable.

I have trained and performed with a wide array of practitioners and companies, including David Gale (Lumiere and Son), Peta Lily, Petra Massey, Poala Rizza (Ecole Jaques Lecoq), David Glass, Carlos Cortes, Crooked Finger Dance Theatre, Amit Lahav, Dorothy Max- Prior, Ragroof Theatre, White Rabbit, Stella Duffy and Acrojou Circus Theatre. And been lucky enough to travel the world performing in a huge variety of venues and festivals.

 

Having run an internationally touring theatre company I have amassed significant skills in management, production and events.

Teaching

My teaching credits include further and higher education Northbrook College, Wimbledon College of Art and Design, and Winchester University, private adult acting classes as well as working in numerous schools and youth theatres.

 

I am a qualified fitness instructor, with a specialist qualification in working with children and young people. I combine these skills with my creative and movement practices to create and deliver workshops.
